Oppo has finally confirmed that the flagship foldable, Oppo Find N6 will launch globally on March 17, 2026. The company made this announcement on March 10. The launch event will be held at Oppo’s Binhai Bay Campus in China, but the company has confirmed that the phone will be available in global markets on the same day.
This makes the Find N6 one of the first major foldable smartphones to launch outside China in 2026, ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 by several months.
The Find N6 is the successor to the Find N5, which was widely regarded as one of the best book-style foldable phones available. The N6 builds on that foundation with a new hinge design, a crease-free inner display, a 200MP camera co-engineered with Hasselblad, a larger battery, and a faster processor. In India, the expected price is around ₹1,10,000, though the official price will only be confirmed at the time of launch.
The Oppo Find N6 is a book-style foldable smartphone. That means it opens like a small book — when closed, it looks like a thick regular phone, and when opened, it becomes a small tablet with a large screen. This type of foldable is different from a flip-style foldable, which folds vertically like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
Book-style foldables are designed for people who want a large screen for reading, watching videos, working on documents, or multitasking — but still want something that fits in a pocket when closed. The Find N6 is Oppo’s flagship in this category and sits at the top of its foldable lineup.
Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Oppo, confirmed that the Find N6 introduces the industry’s first Zero-Feel Crease, calling it a major breakthrough in hinge architecture and display materials that opens up new possibilities for what a foldable smartphone experience can be.
Oppo says the Find N6 solves this with its Zero-Feel Crease technology. The company has developed a new generation titanium alloy dome hinge that allows the display to fold and unfold without creating a visible or feelable crease. Oppo did a good job in this area even with the Find N3 and Find N5 — both foldables had a crease that was not anywhere as noticeable as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Find N6 takes this further with a redesigned hinge and new display materials that Oppo says keep the screen flat and smooth even after years of regular use.
The Find N6 comes with two displays. The inner display measures 8.12 inches and uses LTPO OLED technology. This is the main screen you use when the phone is open. The cover screen measures 6.62 inches and is also an LTPO OLED panel. This is the screen you use when the phone is closed and folded.
The smartphone is expected to draw its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is built on a 3nm process. Along with that the smartphone will likely feature up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
According to the official Oppo online store in China, the Find N6 will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations.
Oppo has integrated a 200MP Hasselblad Ultra-Clear camera system housed within a symmetrical Cosmos Ring module. The triple-lens setup includes a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. This combination is intended to deliver professional-grade photography capabilities, supported by advanced multispectral sensing.
The front camera for selfies is a 20MP sensor.
The phone is said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with a 6,000mAh battery. Cameras could include a 200MP Hasselblad Ultra-Clear main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide.
Charging support includes 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
In China, the foldable will be offered in Golden Orange, Deep Black, and Original Titanium colour options. However, the device is expected to be available globally only in the Golden Orange and Original Titanium finishes.
Leaks and reports from the industry say that the expected Oppo Find N6 price in India at a ₹1,10,000. However, this is not the official price. The final price will only be revealed at the time of launch and may change depending on the model and any launch offers available.
