Upcoming mobiles in India 2026 are expected to launch over the next few months. From Google and Apple to Samsung and iQOO, there is something coming for every kind of buyer — whether you are looking for the best camera, the best battery, a foldable screen.
1. Google Pixel 11 Series
Expected Launch in India: September to October 2026
The Google Pixel 11 series is expected to be announced globally in August 2026 at Google’s annual hardware event. Based on previous Pixel launch patterns, the India launch is expected in late September or early October 2026 through Flipkart and Google’s own online store.
The Pixel 11 series is likely to include four models — the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The codenames for these models, leaked earlier, are cubs, grizzly, kodiak, and yogi respectively.
The Google Pixel 11 is an upcoming Android 17 smartphone powered by Google’s Tensor G6 chip, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50MP + 50MP dual rear camera along with a 50MP front camera. The phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging and supports wireless charging, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Tensor G6 is expected to be built on a 2nm manufacturing process, which could bring it closer in performance to Qualcomm chipsets than any previous Tensor chip. The phone is also expected to support up to 80W charging with Qi2, along with new health monitoring features powered by the Tensor G6’s nanoTPU technology. Price expected around Rs. 80,000-90,0000 in India
2. Apple iPhone 18 Series
Expected Launch in India: September 2026
iPhone 18 Pro
The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of around 2622×1206 pixels and a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate. It is powered by the Apple A20 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s 2nm process, delivering an estimated 15% performance boost and 30% better power efficiency compared to the A19 series, paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The rear camera system has a 48MP main sensor with variable aperture — a first for iPhone — which allows the lens opening to adjust for better low-light shots and depth-of-field control.
The phone is expected to include a smaller Dynamic Island, with Face ID components partially moving under the display. Color options are expected to include Coffee, Purple, and Burgundy, with no black color option. The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to launch in September 2026 with a starting price of around Rs 1,34,900 to Rs 1,43,990 in India
iPhone 18 Pro Max
The iPhone 18 Pro Max steps up with a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of around 2868×1320 pixels and a potential 120Hz refresh rate in select modes. It shares the same Apple A20 Pro chip and 12GB RAM as the standard Pro model. The main camera gets a 48MP sensor with variable aperture, and Samsung is reportedly supplying a new three-layer stacked image sensor for improved camera responsiveness and dynamic range.
The battery is expected to reach 5,100–5,200mAh, the largest ever in an iPhone, enabled by a slightly thicker chassis. Other anticipated features include up to 1TB storage, 40W wired charging, and deeper Apple Intelligence integration. The phone is also expected in September 2026 with a starting price near Rs.1,54,900 in India.
3. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8
Expected Launch in India: July 2026
Samsung is expected to unveil both the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 at its Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2026, likely around the second week of July. This follows the same pattern as the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, which were announced on July 9, 2025.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to retain a 6.5-inch external display and an 8.0-inch internal display, similar to its predecessor. A major upgrade coming to the Z Fold 8 is Samsung’s new laser-drilling metal plate hinge technology, first shown at CES 2026, which dramatically reduces the visible fold line — making it nearly crease-free.
The phone is expected to run on One UI 9 based on Android 17, with an integrated display privacy layer that blocks side-angle views without reducing screen clarity, and a foreign material detection system that alerts users if debris is present before closing the phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to launch at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2026 with a price expected around Rs.1,80,000-2,00,000 in India.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to keep the 6.9-inch inner display and 4.1-inch external cover screen from the previous model. The biggest change is expected in the design — Samsung is targeting a build that is at least 10% slimmer and lighter than the Galaxy Z Flip 7, with a more ergonomic and rounded profile. On the camera side, the Flip 8 is expected to retain a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
The phone will debut One UI 9 based on Android 17, with improved multitasking, split-screen functionality, and the same privacy display technology coming to the Z Fold 8. The foreign material detection system in the hinge is also expected. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to launch alongside the Z Fold 8 in July 2026 at a starting price of around Rs. 1,19,999 in India.
4. iQOO Neo 11
Expected Launch in India: First Half of 2026
The iQOO Neo 11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 510ppi pixel density, and a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 2,592Hz PWM dimming and a 25.4ms touch response time, making it well-suited for gaming. Under the hood, it is paired with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and includes iQOO’s proprietary Q2 supercomputing chip, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and an 8,000mm² vapour chamber cooling system.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front gets a 16MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 7,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, and USB-C. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and was launched in China in late 2025, with an India debut expected in mid-2026. Expected price in India around Rs.32,990-39,990.
All four options are coming to India in 2026. The iQOO Neo 11 and Google Pixel 11 are the closest to launching, while the iPhone 18 Pro and Samsung foldables are expected in the second half of the year.
