Oppo K14 5G Launching on March 9, 2026 — 7,000mAh Battery, Full Specs, and Expected Price

Oppo is bringing a new phone to India on March 9, 2026. The phone is called the Oppo K14 5G, and it is the successor to the Oppo K13 5G that launched last year. The launch event is set for 12 PM IST on March 9, and the phone will be available exclusively through Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite is already live with several confirmed details.

The biggest highlight of the Oppo K14 5G is its 7,000mAh battery, which is one of the largest batteries you will find on a phone in this price segment.

The Oppo K14 5G is the latest phone in Oppo’s K series and the direct successor to the K13 5G in India. The K series has always focused on giving buyers a reliable phone with good battery life and solid build quality at a mid-range price. The K14 5G continues that approach but adds a few things that are not usually found at this price point, like an IP69 durability rating and a large cooling system.

The Oppo K14 5G features a prism-style design on the back panel, similar to the Oppo K14x. The back panel carries a geometric textured pattern on the lower half.

The rear camera module is rectangular and houses a dual camera setup. This is slightly different from the K14x, which has vertically aligned sensors positioned separately from the LED flash.

The phone will be available in two colour options at launch — White and Purple.

The Oppo K14 5G features a 120Hz display with up to 1,125 nits of peak brightness.

Given the brightness figures, the screen technology is expected to be LCD rather than OLED. The display size is 6.67 inches with FHD+ resolution, which means the screen is large enough for comfortable video watching, gaming, and everyday use. The 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through apps and content feel smooth.

The Oppo K14 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM — with virtual RAM support — and 256GB of internal storage.

The Dimensity 6300 is a capable mid-range chip that handles everyday tasks, social media, video streaming, and light gaming without any major issues. The virtual RAM feature allows the phone to use a portion of the storage as additional RAM, which helps with running multiple apps at the same time.

Oppo has confirmed a 50MP primary camera with AI capabilities on the rear. The camera app includes features like AI Eraser 2.0, which removes unwanted objects from photos, and Dual-view video, which lets you record from the front and rear camera at the same time.

The secondary rear camera is a 2MP depth sensor, which assists with portrait mode shots. The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter for video calls and selfies.

This is where the Oppo K14 5G makes the strongest case for itself.

The phone comes with a 7,000mAh battery — one of the largest in its price segment — with 45W fast charging support and reverse charging, which allows the K14 5G to act as a power bank for other devices.

The microsite also confirms 5W reverse wired charging support.

Oppo says the battery has been engineered to maintain stable battery health for up to five years, aligning with the phone’s focus on long-term reliability.

The Oppo K14 5G runs ColorOS 15 and comes with a 60-Month Fluency Assurance promise — a commitment from Oppo that the phone will maintain smooth and responsive performance for up to five years after purchase.

Oppo has not officially announced the price of the K14 5G yet. The full pricing will be revealed at the launch event on March 9 at 12 PM IST.

The K14 5G is widely expected to slot in as a slightly more premium offering compared to the K14x. The Oppo K14x starts at around ₹14,999, so the K14 5G is expected to be priced somewhere between ₹18,000 and ₹20,000 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.

At that price, it will compete directly with the Realme Narzo Power 5G, Samsung Galaxy M35 5G, and the Poco M7 Pro — all of which also offer large batteries and 5G connectivity in the same range.

The Oppo K14 5G is a straightforward phone with a clear focus — long battery life backed by a reliable build. The 7,000mAh battery, IP69 water resistance, 120Hz display, and 5-year performance promise make it a well-rounded option for mid-range buyers.
