The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been one of the most consistent sellers in India’s compact SUV segment since it first launched in March 2016. It has now completed a full decade on Indian roads, and to mark that milestone, Maruti is preparing to launch 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift and the expected launch in coming days.
The design of the new Maruti Brezza facelift 2026 is expected to remain largely unchanged, but with a few visible updates. At the front, the grille with blacked-out treatment and multiple horizontal slats is expected to remain, but it is now flanked by redesigned dual-LED projector headlamp clusters. The front bumper has also been reprofiled. On the sides, new 16-inch alloy wheels have been spotted along with a sleek black side cladding that reduces the amount of plastic cladding compared to the current car. At the rear, the new Brezza is set to get a connected LED tail-light setup, which is now a common design feature across newer Maruti models. Inside the cabin, a larger infotainment system mounted on a reworked dashboard has been spotted.
One of changes that could see in the 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift is underbody CNG tank setup which debuted on the Maruti Victoris will make its way to the Brezza facelift 2026 as well. This is significant because the current Brezza CNG has a cylinder mounted in the boot, which takes up a large chunk of boot space.
The front end is getting revised headlights with dual LED projectors that give the car a more modern look compared to the current single-LED units. The bumper below has been reprofiled with cleaner lines and updated fog lamp housings. At the rear, the connected LED tail-light strip is the biggest visual change, giving the Brezza a more contemporary look from behind.

The alloy wheel design is also changing, with new 16-inch units that look sharper than the current design. The side cladding the plastic protection on the lower sides appears to be reduced and given a more integrated look, which is a change that several Maruti buyers had been asking for.
The current 9-inch touchscreen will be replaced by a bigger 10.1-inch unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Brezza facelift 2026 will also get a new fully digital instrument cluster. The new Brezza may offer ventilated front seats, an adjustable driver seat, and ambient lighting.
The steering wheel is also expected to be updated, and a powered driver seat may also be added on higher trim levels. Overall, the cabin is being brought in line with what buyers now expect in this segment, especially given that rivals like the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet have been offering these features for some time.

The facelift will include more safety features. It will have six airbags, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The brezza facelift will also get Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
Adding front parking sensors is a welcome move. The current Brezza misses this feature even on higher variants, which feels like a gap given that most competitors already offer it. The Level 2 ADAS suite would be a first for the Brezza and would bring it in line with newer entrants in the segment.
The 2026 brezza facelift is likely to continue with the 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine, which produces 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The CNG version is expected to produce 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque.

A new 6-speed manual gearbox is expected to be introduced, replacing the current 5-speed unit on the manual variant.
Reports also suggest the updated model may get a 1.0-litre, three cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine the same Boosterjet unit that powers the Maruti Fronx paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This engine produces 99 bhp and 147.6 Nm in the Fronx and could be tuned slightly differently for the Brezza.
The estimated price of the 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift is expected to start at around ₹8.50 lakh and may go up to ₹13.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The current Brezza is priced from around ₹8.34 lakh to ₹14.14 lakh depending on the variant. So the facelift is expected to come in at a similar or slightly adjusted price range, with the higher variants likely costing a little more due to the additional features.
If the 1.0-litre turbo engine is introduced as a new variant, it could slot in above the existing 1.5-litre petrol variants, potentially taking the top-end price slightly higher.
